Abstract
PURPOSE: To accomplish through cleaning matters accumulated on the bottom of water of a swimming pool through a forward and backward reciprocation of the cleaner in the contrary curve with the action of two sets of sensors mounted thereto.
CONSTITUTION: A carrier 1 carrying the cleaner is sunk down on the bottom of water of a swimming pool and a pump is driven. Water sucked in through a port 4 undergoes a filter 5 to capture matters accumulated and then is jetted out of a port 12b via valve means A. Thus, the cleaner moves forward counterclockwise in a slight curve. Upon contact of a sensor 8 with the wall C3, with the movement of the vlave means A, water is jetted out of a port 12a. Thus, the cleaner moves backward straight. Upon hitting of the carrier against the wall C3, a pilot valve b1 of a second senser 14 works to allow the water to jet out of a port 12c. Thus, the cleaner advances clockwise in a slight curve. With the colision of the carrier against the walls C2 and C4, the water moves alternatively between ports 11b, 11a and 11c. In this manner, the cleaner moves back and forth until the bottom of water of the pool is cleaned up thoroughly
