Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease total weight of a valve and perform its cost down, by pivotally supporting the rotary shaft of a valve body in the exhaust brake valve with a bearing at the noconnection side, forming the external end of said bearing to cap shape further press fitting and fixing the bearing to a through hole at the side of a main unit of the valve. CONSTITUTION:In an exhaust brake valve provided to an exhaust pipe in an engine, a rotary shaft 7 of a valve body 2 is pivotally supported by a bearing 20 in a through hole 3, and an external end 20a of the bearing 20 is formed to closed cap shape. Further the bearing 20 is press fitted and fixed to the through hole 3 drilled at the side of a valve main unit 1. In this constitution, a number of part items required in the side of a not connected part can be widely reduced.
