Abstract

A cylindrical magnet 3 mounted in the cell 1 is operated in such a way that the decomposing currents and mgnetic fluxes intersect. The electrolyte is moved in the direction conforming to Fleming's left-hand rule, whereby the electroloyte is agitated and electrolytically decomposed.
