Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a titled device smaller in size and higher in electric power efficiency by inersecting the ferromagnetic fields by a cylindrical magnet with the decomposing currents of spiral electrodes arranged in multiple stages thereby accelerating the agitation of an electrolyte and ion speeds. CONSTITUTION:An electrolyte is circulated between an electrolytic cell 1 and a gas separating cell 25, and decomposing currents are conducted to spiral electrodes 5 wound spirally by maintaining the spacing between both cathode and anode plates 7 and 8. A cylindrical magnet 3 mounted in the cell 1 is operated in such a way that the decomposing currents and mgnetic fluxes intersect. The electrolyte is moved in the direction conforming to Fleming's left-hand rule, whereby the electroloyte is agitated and electrolytically decomposed.
