Abstract

PURPOSE:To make high quality recording with a simple device such as a home- use VTR, by sampling an input television signal in synchronism with a specified frequency signal which changed the phase by each one frame. CONSTITUTION:A television signal obtained from a television camera 1 is given to an input of a tape recorder 3 via a sampling circuit 2. A synchronizing signal generated from the camera 1 is given to a synchronizing circuit 4, and two signals phiA and phiB with equal frequency and different phase(180 deg.) are formed based on this signal, one is selected at each frame at a switch circuit 5 and given to the sampling circuit 2 as a clock signal. Thus, since the phase of the sampling point is shifted by 180 deg. at each frame, the information with doubled precision can be obtained without changing the band of 3.58MHz.
