Abstract
PURPOSE:To get rid of a color fade-out in case of switching a reproduction mode, by setting the loop gain of a circuit to a suitable value to each mode by use of a control signal synchronized in case of switching a mode, in an APC circuit of a reproduction color signal of VTR. CONSTITUTION:In a VTR using a video signal of a PAL system, an output of a loop filter 13 is provided to a reference oscillation frequency control terminal of 160fH (horizontal synchronizing frequency) through a phase inverter 20 and a switching circuit 21. That is to say, since the reference frequency is varied in accordance with a time base variation, the frequency control sensitivity increases and the loop gain increases. On the other hand, the switching circuit 21 controlled to ''off'' and ''on'' in a standard reproduction mode and in a variable speed and static picture reproduction mode, respectively, by muting control signal for controlling a period for erasing a sound. In this way, when a mode is changed over, the frequency is controlled swiftly by the muting control signal 22, and the time of a color fade-out is shortened or removed.
