Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a high-quality reproduced picture for the time base collector, by giving the 2-part division to both the reproduced color burst phase error signal and the reproduced horizontal synchronous signal phase error signal with every horizontal synchronous period and in correspondence to the level of the selected output. CONSTITUTION:The color TV signals generated from the video disk or the like are sampled via isolating circuits 1 and 5 to receive the phase comparison through phase comparators 2 and 6 with the reference frequency signal each and in the form of the reproduced color burst signal and the reproduced horizontal synchronous signal respectively. Then the error signal corresponding to the phase difference is supplied to error signal compounding circuit 20. Thus the burst phase error is held with every period of the horizontal synchronism; while the horizontal synchronous phase error is held in the residual periods each. Then the both errors receive the isolation and selection in the time-division way to be applied to phase correcting circuit 25 for compounding. Thus variable delay element 4 is controlled.
