Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize both accurate focusing and rough focusing, by displaying a focusing display in an accurate focusing display and a focusing display within the depth decided by the set aperture value. CONSTITUTION:The signal supplied from a focus detecting circuit 4 is supplied to discriminating circuits 5 and 6. The circuit 5 delivers a focusing signal when the signal of the circuit 4 is within a focusing region D0 having a prescribed width; while the circuit 6 delivers the focusing signal when the signal of the circuit 4 is within a focusing region D1 or D2 which vary according to the aperture value. Receiving these focusing signals, a display controlling circuit 7 controls a display device 8 and performs the displays in response to the regions D0-D2. For instance, the center LED glows when the signal is within the region D0; and the left or right LED glows when the signal is within the regions D1 or D2, respectively. With such focusing displays, the accurate focusing or the rough focusing is possible.
