Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable an optical center and a columnar axis of a lens to be automatically print-dotted, by a method wherein an optical center and a columnar axis of a lens to be measured are computed from a prism diopter and a base direction thereof, measured by a lens meter, and a refractive property of a lens to be measured to move a lens supporter.
CONSTITUTION: A detection processing part 8 outputs an astigmatic angle (a) of a lens 4 to be measured to a 804, a prism refractive power Px to a 802, and a Py to a 801, and a measurement finishing signal is sent to a program counter 201. A signal from a counter 20 is inputted to a control circuit 13, and a cursor 1 is moved onto a measurement axis by motor drivers 14 and 15 through a set value of a register 12. Outputs of operation circuits 9 and 10 are applied to selectors 21 and 22, pulse generators 23 and 24, and motor drivers 14 and 15, and the cursor 1 is moved to an optical center fo print-dotting. A columnar axis is print-dotted in similar manner by an operation 11. This causes automatic print-dotting of the optical center and columnar axis of the optical lens 4 to be automatically print-dotted.
