Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable satisfactory atomization and combustion of any of slurries and heavy oils to be achieved by a construction wherein a burner body is formed in triple structure to supply steam, slurry and heavy oil through respective passages for exclusive use and the sectional area of the slurry atomizing passage is smaller than that of the heavy oil atomizing passage. CONSTITUTION:A sprayer plate 4 is formed with fuel atomizing passages 11. Each of slurry atomizing passages 11a connected through a steam hole 20 to a steam passage 20 is formed to have a diameter smaller than that of a heavy oil atomizing passage 11b to keep a high steam velocity. Slurry F2 passes through a slurry passage 21 and is satisfactorily atomized by an atomizing steam S with a high velocity in the slurry atomizing passages 11a. In case of heavy oils, satisfactory atomization of them are achieved in heavy oil atomizing passages 11b. Such a construction ensures satisfactory atomization and combustion of any of slurries and heavy oil.
