Abstract

PURPOSE: To pulverize a high viscosity fuel and to effectively utilize, by a making mixing room and jetting flow passage into the same central axis cylinder (hemispherical shape) and crossing the flow passage for fluid to be atomized and that of for atomizind medium at right angles so as to give rise revolving flow to the atomizing medium in the mixing room.
CONSTITUTION: The fluid to be atomized is flowed from the supply passage 1 to the flow passage 2 and atomizing medium is flowed from the supply passage 3 to the flow passage 4 and both are sent to the mixing room 5 and the jetting flow passage 6, at the burner being capable of using a high viscosity fuel for boiler. The passage 4 is provided in the tangential direction toward the circumference wall at the fore- flow side of the room 5 so as to produce revolving flow and the passage 2 is provided for the passage 4 so as to cross with the central axis of the passage 4 nearly at right angles. Further, the room 5 is situated on the same axis as the central axis of the passage 6. The atomizing medium is flowed at about 0.3W1.0 times (weight ratio) of the fluid to be atomized and also,a high viscocity fuel can be sufficienctly atomized by planning at about 0.5W0.3m/sec fluid speed and medium speed at the sonic speed of nearly or it.
