Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize power regeneration with safety and certainty when necessary by compressing refrigerant steam by means of power to accumulate it as heat energy so that the power may be regenerated in form of the pressure of refrigerant steam. CONSTITUTION:Refrigerant stesm 4 is compressed and liquefied by means of a compressor 5 utilizing power. The power is then accumulated as heat energy. When regeneration of power is required, it is obtained by means of a motor 6 (one which makes an action reverse to the compressor 5) utilizing pressure of compressed refrigerant steam 4. This shortens a time for accmulating power and enables reduction in size and weight of the unit. Further, power cumulation capacity is increased and execution of the safety measures is easier because most of them are related to pressure. Since operation control is easy to perform because it can be done by means of valve only, and production cost is rather low for its cumulation capacity, the device can stand almost permanent use.
