Abstract
PURPOSE:To orientate particles in compound in a certain plane or to a certain direction and make piezoelectric constant of piezoelectric high-molecular composite material larger by a method wherein particles of barium titanate which are needle or flat particles extended to a-axis direction and piezoelectric high- molecular compound are mixed and molded. CONSTITUTION:Particles of barium titanate which are needle or flat particles extended to a-axis direction and piezoelectric high-molecular compound are mixed and molded. The particles of the barium titanate are obtained by mixing and baking needle particles of hydro titanium dioxide and barium compound. Or the particles of the barium titanate are also obtained by mixing and baking powder of needle hydro dioxide particles of anatase-type titanium dioxide and barium compound. Then a part of, or almost all of, the barium titanate particles are oriented in a certain surface or to a certain direction in the piezoelectric high-molecular compound, so that the piezoelectric constant of the piezoelectric high-molecular composite material can be made larger.
