Abstract
PURPOSE:To remove active organic compound in insulating oil, and to prevent a short-circuit trouble to be generated by corrosion of an oil-immersed electrical machinery and apparatus by a method wherein a piping is made to pass through a part of the oil-immersed electrical machinery and apparatus, and a corrosion preventer constituting of valves and a reaction cell is equipped thereto. CONSTITUTION:The corrosion preventer 7 is provided between a tank 1 of oil- immersed transformer, etc., and a cooler 6, and insulating oil is made to circulate between the tank 1 and the cooler 6 through the preventer 7 thereof as to perform cooling of the transformer, etc. The corrosion preventer 7 is provided with filters of inorganic glass or cellulose at the upper part, a medium to react with organic sulfurous compound in the insulating oil is filled up between the filters, the medium thereof is provided with the reaction cell 8 partitioned with partition plates provided facing with each other, and valves 10-14 are arranged to the piping 9 to be connected to the inlet port, outlet port thereof to constitute the corrosion preventer. Accordingly the oil-immersed machinery and apparatus having reliability for a long period can be obtained.
