Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate processing in case of a fault and during an increase in the number of processors, by grouping processors, and then arranging a power source for every group. CONSTITUTION:For a processor group (1-1-1-n) and a processor group (2-1-2-n), console panels CNS-1 and CNS-2, in-group contention arranging circuits R-1 and R-2, common memories A-1 and A-2, and in-group fault monitoring circuits ISUP1 and ISUP2 are equipped, and further an in-group fault monitoring circuit SSUP is equipped. Those groups are provided with power sources POW1 and POW2 respectively to enable group-by-group stand-by switching, and thus while in-use and stand-by circuits and a connection system between them are simplified, the processors are replaced, one by one, to replace processors in case of a fault and during an increase in the number of processors only by inserting or replacing a printed plate on which a processor is printed.
