PURPOSE:To secure an effective fault process through a simple constitution by giving the multiple drop to plural units of end offices indluding the end office corresponding to the faulty center circuit via the other center circuit and the backup circuit when some fault occurs at the center circuit. CONSTITUTION:Center circuit #1 and #2 are provided between center 5 and end office 6 and between center 5 and the other end office 7 respectively. At the same time, the backup circuit is installed between end offices 6 and 7. Here, in case some fault occurs at circuit #1 or #2, the multiple drop is given to plural units of end offices including the end office corresponding to the faulty center circuit via the other center circuit and the backup circuit. Thus, an effective fault process is ensured through a simple system constitution.
