Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester consmetic bottle having a colored pearly surface brightness, by using the compositin of a polyester resin and a methacryl resin. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition consisting 60-99.5wt% of a polyester resin (A) comprising ethylene terephthalate having a repetition unit of 60mol% or more, whose intrinsic viscosity is 0.6 or more, and 40-0.5wt% of a colored methacryl resin (B) is blown onto a product. The resin (A) may be mixed with 40-0.5wt% of a colored pellet (C) prepared by exturding the mixture of a methacryl resin pellet with an organic pigment and/or an inorganic pigment, and then estruded to form a mixed resin pellet. This pellet is injection-molded to make a preform, and blown into a desired product.
