Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a titled circuit which can operate under low voltages and is suitable for converting it to integrated circuits, by controlling an electric current in such a way that the potential difference across a resistance is equal to the offset voltage of a differentially amplifying circuit which is generated because the current density is different. CONSTITUTION:A constant-current is obtained at a transistor Q8 which is a constant-current source by controlling an electric current IREF flowing into a resistance R12 in such a way that a potential difference DELTAVBE across a resistance R12 is equal to offset voltages of differentially amplifying circuits Q1-Q4 which are generated because the current density is different. In this constant- current circuit, the difference in current density is produced by changing the emitter area of the transistors Q1 and Q2. Since the DELTAVBE due to the difference in current density and the R12XIREF operate so as to balance with each other under the same condition, operations under low voltages become possible.
