PURPOSE:To increase the lubricity, wear resistance and roll-up properties of a magnetic recording medium, by forming a wave-type resin film by dispersing the lubricant fine particles on the back side of a supporter. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic thin film 2 is formed on a surface of a supporter 1 made of plastic, and at the same time a wave-type resin film 3 having the hollow parts 4 gathering lubricant, fine particles 5 of <=1mu grain size such as the carbon fluoride, graphite or the like is provided on the other surface of the supporter 1.
