Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the corrosion of the titled heat exchanger by a method wherein two conduits each having a drain hole at a position away from a tube group are provided between a heat exchanger casing and the tube group and another conduit is provided at an opening in which the tube group is fixed. CONSTITUTION:A conduit 10 which slopes only one way at a predetermined pitch is welded between a partition plate 5 inclined toward the tube group 1 including a number of tubes 2 and the casing 4, and the drain hole 11 and a baffle plate 12 are provided on the lowered end of the partition plate 5 side. Drain water flowing down along the inner wall of the casing 4 is collected by the conduit 10, discharged from the drain hole 11 and dispersed and dried by an exhaust gas stream so that the tubes 2, the casing 4 and the partition plate 5 are prevented from corrosion. Further, since the drain water does not stay on the conduit 10, the conduit itself is also prevented from corrosion.
