Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the cooling efficiency of a rotor by a construction wherein a heated cooling steam flowing toward the second-stage disk can be drawn out from a passage of the cooling steam, in a reheated steam turbine rotor provided with respectively two stages of annular blade rows and disks. CONSTITUTION:In an intermediate-pressure turbine 13 having outside and inside casings 21, 22, the reheated steam SR is introduced into a reheated-steam chamber 23 and flows downstream through the first-stage nozzle 24 and the first-stage blades 25. On the other hand, the cooling steam SC is passed through an introducing pipe 26 and supplied to the surfaces of the turbine rotor 27. To prevent the cooling steam SC from being gradually heated to high temperatures by the first-stage and second-stage disks 29, 33, an exhaust passage 35 for the cooling steam is provided to pierce through the second-stage nozzle 31 and the inside casing 22. One end of the exhaust passage 35 is opened toward the turbine rotor 27 and the other end is opened into a steam chamber 36 to thereby prevent the heated cooling steam SC from flowing toward the second-stage disk 33.
