Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the titled agent for oral administration, having high absorption efficiency and useful for the remedy of hemophilia, by forming the blood coagulation factor IX in the form of a preparation using liposome and enteric capsule, thereby preventing the deactivation and decomposition of the blood coagulation factor.
CONSTITUTION: The blood coagulation factor IX or its mixture with a broad protease inhibiting agent (e.g. aprotinin) is filled in liposome. The filled product or its freeze-dried product is encapsulated with an enteric capsule to obtain the objective agent. As an alternative method, the blood coagulation factor IX, the protease inhibitor, and the liposome membrane-constituting material are freeze- dried separatly, mixed together, and encapsulated with an enteric capsule. The disintegration of the capsule takes place in the small intestines, and releases the contents. The decomposition of the contents can be prevented with the liposome layer covering said contents and with the broad protease inhibitor added thereto, and the active component can be transferred to the absorption part.
