Abstract
PURPOSE:To line an inner surface of an elongate pipe in a short period, by inserting a lining tube with it turned inside out into the pipe from an initial end opening of the pipe whose terminal end opening is closed by an end fitting so that the tube is bonded to the pipe, and pumping air and steam into the tube to harden the adhesive. CONSTITUTION:A flexible guide pipe 9 of a first truck 6 is connected to the initial end opening of the pipe 3 whose terminal end opening is closed by the end fitting 1, and after an initial end of the lining tube 2 the inner surface of which is applied with an adhesive and which is wound on a reel 8 in a pressurizing chamber 7 of the truck 6 is secured to the initial end of the pipe 3, pressurized air from a compressor 12 of a second truck 10 is supplied to the pressurizing chamber 7 to insert the tube 2 into the pipe 3 while the tube 2 is being turned in side out so that the inner surface of the pipe 3 is lined with the tube 2. Then in a state where the air pressure in the pipe 3 is kept at a prescribed pressure, steam is supplied from a boiler 14 of the truck 10 via a conduit 13 and the pressurizing chamber 7 into the pipe 3, and a piercing section 20a of a pressurized fluid withdrawing apparatus 20 is inserted into the pipe 3 from the fitting 1 to withdraw the air and steam suitably from the pipe 3 so that while the temperature and the pressure in the pipe 3 are controlled the adhesive is hardened.
