The characters and codes are supplied through the device 1 and stored successively in a text file memory 4 to be displayed at a display device 2. The result of display is corrected when necessary to perform an operation for confirmation. Thus a CPU7 drives a printer 3 and reads a memory 4 to perform the dot print-out. In such a way, a document is easily formed in a desired style of type.
