CONSTITUTION:The label printer for an electronic balance has printer 4 on the dot print system, the 1st memory 7 stored with character patterns, the 2nd memory 8 stored with article name key words in addresses which correspond to article name codes, and central processor 10. Central processor 10 reads an article name key word out of the 2nd memory 8 corresponding to an article name code supplied from input device 3 and, on the basis of the readout article name key word, reads a character pattern out of the 1st memory 7 to supply the character pattern to printer 4.
