PURPOSE:To ruduce thermal invasion, by making a power lead for current supply super-conductive at power-ON and ordinary conductive at power-OFF. CONSTITUTION:A power lead 3 is connected to a super-conductive coil 2 in a liquid helium tank 1. The lead 3 consists of the first pipe 4, a super conductive- ordinary conductive connector 5 and the second pipe 6. Helium gas flows to the pipes 4, 6 at power-ON to keep the pipe 4 super-conductive. Helium gas stops at power-OFF state to keep it ordinary conductive and to check the thermal invasion.
