Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent misfiring in a device, by setting control data of ignition timing and ignition coil conduction start timing to an ignition control system synchronously with the ignition timing. CONSTITUTION:A waveform shaper circuit 1141 is input with an ignition pulse IGN from an AND gate 1140, and an ignition timing signal, synchronous with the rise-up of said pulse, is generated and applied to one of the SATUS198 registers, then interruption IRQ of an ignition factor is generated. From this ignition IRQ, a register, set with ignition timing, and register, set with primary current conduction start timing of an ignition coil, are synchronously set with respective control data to the ignition timing. Accordingly, even if control is performed to rapidly change the ignition timing, a conduction time for the ignition coil is surely held to a controlled state, thus misfiring, due to decrease of the conduction time, and a temperature rise of a power transistor, due to increase of the conduction time, can be prevented.
