Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide high precision control of ignition lead angle with a simple structure, by predicting the next crank pulse period on the base of consecutive two measurements taken immediately before the prediction. CONSTITUTION:A device is used for measuring a time DELTAT (crak pulse period) which is required for a crankshaft to turn by a certain angle. A crank pulse period DELTAT=DELTATN+1 to be followed is predicted on the base of each actual measurements DELTATN made just before predietion and DELTATN-1...DELTATN-n, which follow it, in order to compute and set such factors such as ignition timing and energizing timing for providing an ignition lead angle control signal.
