Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve exclusive logical sum operation with a simple construction, by forming Josephson junction between counter electrodes at both the ends of a horizontal arm of a base electrode of T shape provided on a ground plane via an insulation layer. CONSTITUTION:A base electrode 12 is provided on a ground plane 10 via an insulation layer 18. The base electrode 12 is of T shape, and a counter electrode 16 in common use with a signal line is extended left and right on a horizontal arm 12a to form Josephson junction with the base electrode 12 at both ends of the arm 12a via insulation thin films 14a, 14b. The extended parts 16a, 16b of the counter electrode 16 are input terminals for signal currents IH1, IH2 and a prejected part 16c of the electrode 1 is connected to the ground plane 10. A vertical leg 12b of the T shaped base electrode 12 becomes the input and signal output terminals for a bias current IB.
