Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce a roll with a high magnetic flux density by a method wherein one or more non-magnetic members are installed linearly or in a slant freakiness in the longitudinal direction of the interior surface of a mold of one magnetic pole out of plural magnetized poles, and an external magnetic field is applied so that an easy-to magnetize axis of a magnetic material of a forming roll is oriented in the direction of a magnetic flux passing through between magnetized poles. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic powder of a large magnetic anisotropic constant such as a ferrite powder including barium or the like of a rare earth elements magnetic powder is blended with a high-molecular as well as a plasticizer and a lubricant, and then it is formed with pressing in a magnetic field corresponding to a magnetization pattern for a magnetic brush roll for electrostatic copying. In this formation when the blended composite is extruded into a mold 15 comprised of a non-magnetic region and a magnetic region to form in a roll or tube fashion, a magnetic field is exrernally applied at the same place as a pole to be magnetized as a magnetic bruch magneto roll with the help of an an electromagnet 17 to create a magnetic flux and orient in the direction of the magnetic flux an easy-to-magnetize axis of magnetic particles included in a resin which is in the fusion state.
