Abstract

PURPOSE:To specify the tape tension at low speed without the torque dispersion by a method wherein the specified tension control is performed on the reel motor directly driving a reel rack or provided with a reduction gear halfway. CONSTITUTION:The switch S1 is the transfer switch for reproducing sounds and rapid feeding. When the switch S1 is connected to the output terminal side of the inverse arithmetic unit 16-2, the motor 11 is controlled at the specified tension without the torque dispersion, i.e., the motor 11 is supplied with the power from the amplifier 14 as required to drive the driving pawl of the reel rack. The output signals of the torque detector 13 and the set up signals input through the intermediary of the switch S1 are input into the comparator 13. The amplifier 14 controls the current supplied for the motor 11 corresponding to the output of the comparator 13 providing the driving torque output from the motor 11 with the specified values without the dispersion. The output from the turning detector 16-1 is input into the comparator 13 through the intermediary of the inverse arithmetic unit 16-2 and the switch S1.
