Abstract
PURPOSE:To greatly increase the efficiency of the rim rolling work, by fitting a new metallic mold to the supply support shaft of one side during the working and receiving the used metal mold with the other supply support shaft while the working is discontinued. CONSTITUTION:When an up-down device frame 7 is rising up, support shafts 3 and 3 which freely open and close and are fitted to the 2-split metallic molds respectively are slided right and left to open the space between them. Then a cylinder 13 is actuated to tilt a rotary arm 10 and to obtain the coincidence between both common center axial lines a and a'. The 2-split metallic molds supported by the shafts 3 and 3 are slided and transferred to supply support shafts 14 and 14. After this, the cylinder 13 is actuated to tilt the arm 10, and the shafts 14 and 14 fitted new 2-split metallic molds are put between the shafts 3 and 3 to obtain the coincidence between the lines a and a'.
