Abstract

PURPOSE:To freely obtain the desired pressure value for a test of an air brake device, by reading the pressure value within a pressure tank by means of a pressure sensor and controlling the difference between the pressure value in the pressure tank and the set pressure value by means of a microprocessor. CONSTITUTION:The pressure value of a numerical command is set to a microprocessor muPC1, and at the same time the muPC1 reads the pressure value in a pressure tank 4 by means of a pressure sensor 5 attached to the tank 4 to calculate the difference between the measured value and the set value. When the difference is positive, an air supply solenoid 2b becomes conductive after energizing a coil 2a. The pressure air is supplied into the tank 4 from an air pressure source via an air supply throttle valve 6. The pressure in the tank 4 is measured again, and the coil 2a is energized. These operations are repeated, and as a result the pressure value is settled down in a certain range extremely close to the set value. In case the difference between the measured value and the set value is negative, a coil 3a of an exhaust solenoid 3b is energized to discharge the pressure air to the outside from the tank 4 through an exhaust throttle valve 7. Thus the measured value is set close to the set value.
