Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve resolution, to eliminate texture dirtying, and to facilitate a squeeze by using a recroding body having a dielectric layer which is not wetted with a developing solution and many fine conductive parts arranged on the surface image formation by transferring an electrostatic recording latent image after wet development. CONSTITUTION:On a recording body with a dielectric layer 10, a latent image is formed by using an electrode stylus, developed by a wet developing method, and transferred to recording paper, thus obtaining a recording image. This method employs the recording body consisting of the dielectric layer 10, a conductor layer 11 on the reverse surface, and fine conductive parts 12 arranged on the surface of the dielectric layer 10 in a mesh shape. For this dielectric layer 10, a material (having critical surface tension smaller than a developing solution) is used which is never wetted with the developing solution even when brought into contact with it. The latent image is formed on the conductive parts 12 and developed by the wet developing method. The surface of the dielectric layer 10 is not wetted with the developing solution and an excessive developing solution is squeezed off, so that the texture is not contaminated.
