Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the equipment smaller in the engine stopping device employing fuel injection pump by performing change over of air pressure to operate to change the piston outputting position and to release the holding simultaneously with a rotation of the piston. CONSTITUTION:When the key switch 26 is shifted off, the coils 16a and 16b are demagnetized and the piston 3 is rotated by the spring 7, and the connection between the ventilating hole 8 and the exhaust hole 10 is cut out, air pressure is induced to the cylinder 1 by connection with suction hole 9, and the piston 3 moves against the spring 7, and the movement is transferred to the stop lever 23 through the rod 4, returning the control rack 21 to the position of non-injection. When the piston 3 is pulled back to the extreme position, the nail 11 is inserted into the groove 14 and held there to keep the rack 21 to the non-injection condition. This engagement will be released when the piston 3 is rotated under the key switch 26 is in closed condition, and the movement of the control rack 21 becomes free.
