Abstract

PURPOSE:To miniaturize a cross member and improve freedom of its location, by such constitution that a stopper bracket is separately arranged from the cross member, mounted to the outside of a chassis frame and mounted with an anchor arm for a torsion bar spring. CONSTITUTION:A stopper bracket 18 of an anchor arm is separately arranged from a cross member 3 and mounted to the outside of a chassis frame 1, then a point end of the anchor arm 6 is rotatably mounted to said stopper bracket through an anchor bolt 17. The cross member 3 is mounted to the chassis frame 1 through a torsion stopper 15. Then a torsion bar spring 4 is arranged to the anchor arm 6 along the chassis frame 1. In this constitution, reaction force of the torsion bar spring can be dispersedly applied to the chassis frame and the cross member, to both miniaturize the cross member and improve freedom of mounting and arrangement of engine, transmission, etc.
