Abstract

PURPOSE:to reduce the number of lead ducts exclusively for connection of leads by a method wherein two leads drawn out of winding of the first unit transformer are connected in parallel after being let through different windows of the core of the second unit transformer. CONSTITUTION:A unit transformer is composed by placing a core 1, which has m main legs (where m is integer not less than one) and two side legs and on the main legs of which windings 2 are applied, into a tank 3 and n such unit transformers (where n is integer not less than two) are put side by side. Two lead wires 9B and 10B which are drawn out of the winding of the first unit transformer or each one from the first to the (n-1)th unit transformer are let through different core windows placed inside two side legs of the core 1 of the nth unit transformer or each one from the second to the n-th unit transformer or each one from the second to the nth unit transformer sucessively and are connected to two lead wires 9A and 10A which are drawn out of the winding of the nth unit transformer. With this constitution, dimensions of insulation are reduced and quantity of insulating oil is reduced.
