Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the bearing from fretting errosion by a method wherein a clutch, driven side of which is secured, and a motor coupled to the driving side of this clutch are provided on a rotary shaft revolving in a high speed upon operation to rotate the rotary shaft in a low speed upon resting the operation. CONSTITUTION:The motor 1 and a pump 2 are auxiliary machines and are equipped at the proximity of a main machine. The rotary shaft 3 is supported by the bearings 5, 6 provided in the motor 1 and the pump 2 respectively and are coupled by a coupling 7. The driven side of the clutch 9 is secured to the rotary shaft 3 while the driving side thereof is coupled to a small power motor 13 through a belt 10, a reduction gear 11, a belt 10' and a pulley 12. When the motor 1 and the pump 2 are being rested, the motor 13 is driven to give a low speed revolution to the outer wheel 15 of the clutch 9 to rotate the rotary shaft 3 and thereby preventing the bearings 5, 6 from fretting errosion.
