Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an extremely thin anode by a construction wherein a compound for use as the anode prepared by adding a binder to dried and crushed powder is used to fill a mold for plasticizing the powder together with a porous metal core material into the compound, so that the core is filled with the anode compound under pressure. CONSTITUTION:An anode compound 4 which has been dried is composed of uniform particles with 40-60 meshes or less and a cylindrical female mold 6 is filled with the particles and the mold is loaded with a porous metal core material 1 that has been shaped in a disc. In the final process, the mixture of the metal core material 1 and the anode compound 4 is pressed by a lower male mode 5 and an upper female mold 7 simultaneously. After completion of the above process, an anode 4' filled with the porous metal core material 1 can be obtained.
