Abstract

PURPOSE:To diminish number of man-hour for die set sharply and reduce equipment by constituting the lower die of a fixed die and a movable die and thereby making flange working and cam flange working simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:When an upper die holder 21 goes down, a pad 19 contacts with a hood panel 13, and pushes and fixes a lower die. A drive cam collides against a slide cam 25 and slides it in the direction of the arrow and works cam flange part (d) of the hood panel 13. Next, with upward movement of a drive cam 23 along with the upper die holder 21, the slide cam 25 returns to original position. The pad also goes up with ascent of the upper die holder 21. Then, by driving of air cylinders 26b, 26c, movable dies 14a, 14c slide horizontally and inward to each other to form a room for retreat of a movable die 14d. When the die 14d is moved back by an air cylinder 26d and separated from the cam flange part (d) of the hood panel 13, the hood panel 13 is lifted up by a lifter and carried out of the die.
