Abstract
PURPOSE:To make an antigen and antibody reaction possible under a fixed condition and at the same time, measuring the absorbance while avoiding the precipitation, etc. by bringing said reaction under a nonstanding condition, by using the fact that the increase of absorbance at a prescribed time corresponds to the rate of the antigen and antibody reaction exactly. CONSTITUTION:Light having e.g. 0.4-2.4mu wavelength from a light source 1 is irradiated to a reaction vessel 3 and a cell 4 through a filter or a prism 2. Contents consisting of an insoluble carrier particles deposited on an antibody or an antigen and the material to be inspected containing the antigen or the antibody or its mixture and a liquid medium, are housed in the vessel 3. On the one hand, contents consisting of the insoluble carrier and the liquid medium, are housed in the cell 4 for compensation. The light transmitted through the vessel 3 and the cell 4 is converted into an electric signal at photodetecting parts 5, 6 and the converted signal is recorded automatically by a recorder 8 through an amplifier 7 after leaving for a prescribed time. Further, it is preferable to make the contents in the vessel 3 uniform by a stirring mechanism, etc. driving by an eccentric shaft 13.
