Abstract

PURPOSE:To adjust the length of a spring set without a tool by providing a spring receptacle free of movement in the axial direction of a dumper body in the same manner as a piston. CONSTITUTION:A spring 14 fitted around a dumper body 11 is compressed between a spring receptacle 15 on the side of the dumper body 11 and a spring receptacle 16 on the side of a piston rod 13, and the spring receptacle 15 of the dumper body 11 is fitted free of sliding around the dumper body 11. A cover 17 is fixed on the top of the dumper 11, and the cover 17 has a tube section 17a extending coaxially in the axial direction of the dumper body 11, and the tube section 17a slides on the spring receptacle 15 in airtightness. A valve 18 which faces a cavity surrounded by the spring receptacle 15 and the cover 17 is fitted to the cover 17, and this valve 18 is connected to a fluid feed source.
