Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the adhesive carbon on an unmagnetized material by combustion, and reuse the material with a magnetized material, by bringing a synthetic gas into contact with a composite catalyst consisting of an alcoholic synthetic catalyst and an alcoholic converting catalyst, taking out the catalyst, and separating the catalyst into a magnetized and unmagnetized material by a magnetic separator, and burning the unmagnetized material.
CONSTITUTION: In preparing a hydrocarbon from a synthetic gas, a composite catalyst consisting of an alcoholic synthetic catallst and an alcoholic converting catalyst is used as a catalyst, taken out after the reaction, and separated into a magnetized material and an unmagnetized material by a magnetic separator. The former is directly or activated, and the latter is burned for reuse. The composite catalyst is preferably a mixture of the alcoholic synthetic catalyst, e.g. zinc oxide-chromia catalyst, with an alcoholic converting catalyst, e.g. protonic zeolite Y, at a weight ratio of (1:5)W(5:1). The magnetized material is burned at 500W650°C for 0.5W20hr.
EFFECT: The recovery of the catalytic activity provides the reaction for a long time without reducing the conversion.
