Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the defect of a brush and to reduce compactly an entire brush holder by pressing the brush with a spring made of shape memory alloy and electrically connecting through the spring to the brush. CONSTITUTION:A carbon brush 11 is contained in a brush holder 12, is pressed to a ring 1 side by a spring 15 made of shape memory alloy, and is connected and energized through the coil 15 to a lead wire 16b. In this manner, the brush 11 does not contact with the ring 1 in an impacted manner, and the defective accident of the brush 11 can be accordingly prevented.
