Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a plate far stable in dimensions by a method wherein a pair of upper and lower molds are used to plasticize a strip processed by an expander, the upper mold being finished in tiers and equipped with a die for punching a hole for providing a lug, the lower mold being provide with the walls of a groove at both ends. CONSTITUTION:The lower mold 5' of a press is fixed, while the upper mold 5 of the press is made movable upward and downward. The under surface of the upper mold 5 of the press has been finished in tiers, which consist of a set of small inclined planes 9 and a punching die 10 is provided in the central portion.
