Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a radiation cross sectional image having high resolution by providing a slant hole collimator, slanting a detecting surface of a detector for a scintillation camera with respect to a vertical axis line, and sufficiently approaching the detector to a head or the like. CONSTITUTION:The slant hole collimator 10 is provided in the detector 4 for the scintillation camera which is rotated 180 deg. with a patient 8 as a center through a gantry 2. The detector 4 is slanted at a specified angle with respect to a vertical axis line. Therefore the detector 4 can be sufficiently brought loser to the head or the like, to which a shoulder or like form an obstruction. Therefore, the highly accurate, radiation cross sectional image having the high resolution can be prepared.
