CONSTITUTION:A voltage measuring circuit consisting of a voltage dividing resistance 6 and a constant voltage element 4 is connected to a storage battery 1 by the operation of a switch 3 in the no-load case of the storage battery 1, and a voltage measuring circuit consisting of voltage dividing resistances 6 and 7 and a constant voltage element 5 is connected to the storage battery 1 in the on-load case. A volmeter 8 is connected to both ends of the voltage dividing resistance 6 and is provided with an extended measure. The display part of the voltmeter 8 is separated to a display band 12 for no-load case where the specific gravity of the electrolyte and the capacity of the storage battery are displayed with different colors and a display band 13 for on-load case where the voltage of the storage battery or the capacity of the storage battery is displayed with different colors.
