Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to stabilize the titled heat accumulating chamber in the lateral direction by a method wherein each of the dry masonry bricks is cut at every corner thereof to thereby provide a cutout section having a height less than half the height of the brick and all the bricks are assembled together through the cutout sections thereof. CONSTITUTION:Each of the dry masonry bricks is generally square and tubular in section and every corner thereof has the cutout section of the height less than half the height of the brick. To assemble the bricks in layer, the bricks 3 are fitted among the adjoining bricks 2 of a first brick layer through the cutout sections of the bricks 2 to thereby form a second brick layer and the same manner of assembly is applied to the formation of further layer. The periphery of each of the brick layers is fixed to the wall of the heat accumulating chamber. In this case, since the bricks 2 and 3 are assembled together through their cutout sections, they are held stabilized in the lateral direction. Further, it is possible to provide expansion allowance in each of the cutout sections in the direction of the width thereof so that the brick structure is not collapsed due to a rise in the ambient temperature.
