Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent freezing of the peripheral ground by embedding cooling pipes in the wall body of a continuousl underground wall in the case where the underground tank for storing low temperature substance is constructed and removing the heat generated in case of constructing the continuous wall and allowing warm water to circulate in the cooling pipes when low temperature substance is stored. CONSTITUTION:When a continuous underground base 1 is striken in a ground 4, cooling pipes 7 are embedded in the base 1. Then, the ground surface is excavated, and concrete 2 is deposited successively, and at this time, rise of temperature of the concrete 2 is prevented by allowing cooling water to flow in the cooling pipes 7. Therefore, the internal stress due to the cooling of the concrete is not generated when the tank structure is finished. After the completion of the whole structure, freezing of the peripheral ground is prevented by feeding antifreezing solution or allowing warm water to circulate in the cooling pipes 7, and the ground is prevented from being applied with a freezing compressive force.
