Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled cylindrical body, in which residual stress does not generated, in excellent productivity by a method wherein a glass fiber base material to which resin is impregnated is passed in a cylindrical rotary die, an inner surface thereof has a spiral convex streak, and drawn being heated and cured. CONSTITUTION:The stringly glass fiber base material 4 pulled out from a stock drum 3 is passed in a resin stock hopper 6, in which resin as a raw material is housed, through a guide roller 5, and the resin is uniformly impregnated in the resin stock hopper 6. The base material is introduced to the rotary die 7, to an inner surface thereof the spiral streak 11 is formed, a spiral groove corresponding to the convex streak 11 of the rotary die 7 is formed to the glass fiber base material 4 to which the resin is impregnated while the base material is heated by means of heaters 8, and the resin is cured, thus continuously manufacturing the titled cylindrical body with the spiral groove.
