Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve channel selection with accuracy and high speed, by comparing an analog value with a digital value through the A/D conversion of a reception power. CONSTITUTION:A reception power of a designated channel is A/D-converted at a reception power detection circuit 4 as a DC voltage. That is, a reception power corresponding to each channel is sequentially outputted as digital signal from an A/D conversion circuit 5 by switching channels sequentially through the change in a channel designation signal. When a channel is designated first, the first channel number and the reception power are stored in a storage circuit 6 with a storage renewal designation signal 9 from a processor. When the proces sor designates the next channel, an output of the A/D converter corresponding to the channel is compared with the reception power stored in the storage circuit 6 at a comparison circuit 7, a signal 10 as the result of comparison is fetched and the maximum reception power channel is determined by repeating the operation.
